Arizona Central Credit Union is hosting a pool safety event for the community everyone - kids, families is invited to attend.
WHEN:? July 23 from 9 a.m. to noon
WHERE:? 2150 W. Ina Road (in AZ Central Credit Union?s parking lot)
The pool safety event will benefit Safe Kids Pima County.
Todd Pearson, Arizona Central President and CEO said in a recent news release on the event, ?We're so thankful to our members, employees, volunteers and community partners for creating this event designed to promote water safety in the Tucson metro area. Child-related drowning for kids in the one to five year old age group continues to be a major epidemic throughout Arizona, especially during the summer months of June, July and August. Our credit union is proud to serve as a gathering place during this time for citizens and first responders to educate and raise awareness about this important topic."
Guaranteed to be something for everyone in the family. The following is a sample of what to expect at the event:
- Photos on a fire truck with members of the local fire department
- Every child will receive a pool-themed gift
- Chances to win free prizes, giveaways and participate in raffles to benefit Safe Kids Pima County, including a pool fence giveaway
- Free, cold drinks from Eegees, other refreshments and free water safety educational materials to be provided
